Darth Skippy The Machine

From a young age Darth Skippy was into science fiction, comics, movies, cartoons, and TV shows. This love of the genre came from his grandfather, where he would spend Sunday mornings watching Star Trek. Of course when Star Wars was released the whole game changed. He would be enamored with it and the Star Wars Universe. Like most kids of that day, (70’s & 80’s) he had the toys, action figures, vehicles, and play sets from the movies. His imagination would run wild. As he became older he got into John Carpenter, James Cameron, Ridley Scott, Steven Spielberg, and many of the other directors in that genre. 

Becoming a teenager he was more into the expanded universe for Star Wars as well as authors like Timothy Zahn, Steven King, Michael Crichton, and a host of others. Many of his favorites were classics by H.G. Wells (War of the Worlds, The Time Machine), Frank Herbert (Dune), and Pierre Boulle (Planet of the Apes). It was also during this time that he actively started collecting memorabilia for Star Wars and other Sci Fi series. Of course Star Wars was the main focus, since he already had so many from his early childhood.

As an adult he has acquired some really amazing pieces and in the late 2000’s he started his youtube channel to showcase his collection as well as show off his musician talent. He has created a personality on several media platforms including his own website. He is a true fan of the sci fi genre and continues to have a deep love for Star Wars, even with its ever changing focus. He is all about collecting and getting his message to the masses.
